MidNite Solar/OutBack E-Panel Stretched 175Amp MNE175STS-L. The perfect electrical load center rated for both AC and DC breakers, surge protection, and wiring connections. This particular E-Panel can be used with Outback FX or VFX inverters as well as TRACE SW, DR, and RS inverters. The L means that this will be set up for mounting a solar charge controller to the Left of the door. However that is the customers choice and can be changed either on site or by ordering the R version. Gray Steel Stretched E-Panel gives a little more room for wiring with a 175Amp breaker/inverter disconnect for 48Volt inverters. MidNite Solar E-Panel reduces the installer’s job from hours to minutes. E-Panels come with all the properly sized over-current devices like circuit breakers and DC disconnects. ETL listed to UL and CSA standards.
The feature that really made the E-Panel a viable product was the implementation of the unique hinged door. Not only does this feature allow easy access to the internal components of the electrical panel, but it also makes mounting the inverter a one person job, unlike other systems on the market today. The inverter is mounted to the door while it is laying flat and then you simply lift it up, insert tab “A” into slot “B” and you are done. It really doesn’t get any better than that. PLUS this feature satisfies part of the electrical code that inverters need to be mounted on a non-flammable surface.
